    You use denatured alcohol with epoxy, not the isopropyl and water mix you get at the drug store. Isopropyl is what people use with acrylic paints because it is thinner but evaporates faster than water.

      Yes I do when I need pour 2 Part Epoxy in the mold .

      it thins it out can be also used to clean it up
      before it Cures.

      now this slows down the Curing of Epoxy Adhesive .
      it will Stay Flexiliable as rubber .
      this allows me to position it on a Curve surface or cast Clear Part.


      Now if I WISH to cast Solid Part .
      I mix the 2 Part Epoxy Adhesive.
      with Durhams Water Putty.

      when cited it like Plastic.hard butt .
      if I strike it with a Hammer it well Break.

      butt strong enough to cast pieces for play.
      DISPLAY or PHOTOGRAPHING Props
