I echo the question, what was the price and shipping? Was it easy to order?

Awesome! Have to get one! Really love the Explorer set - just an observation/question...why does it seem the head sculpt is more accurate to the original than any of the recent reproductions, i.e. Masterpiece, 40th Anniversary...???

I was just thinking the exact same thing...In the promo shots of the figure, the eyes look just like vintage eyes....Not the lifeless, zombie eyes you see on most current reproduction figures......How do they look in person Leoferr?...Would you agree?...

I bought them directly from Estrela's online shop, as I live in Brazil:

But I'm afraid they do not offer International shipping... I believe Cotswold will bring them to the US, they are working on getting a fair shipping cost:

Cotswold's retail price for both models is exactly the same we have here! Hopefully they will get a nice shipping cost for the US market.

You are absolutelly correct, the molds used by Estrela in this anniversary edition are exactly the same molds used in the seventies. We can tell that this is, by far, one of the most accurate muscle bodies reproductions ever made!

There are two differences from this headsculpt and the one from 1977:

    1) Painting: the eyebrows are thinner and brown (vintage ones were thicker and black), and the eyes have a darker blue tone
    2) Flocking: the modern material used by Estrela is different from the vintage, and the pattern is a little bit different as well... and the glue used is not very strong. But the overall results are really amazing, everybody here in Brazil was really surprised!

As for the muscle body, it is exactly the same model that Estrela used since 1980. The material is really close to the vintage, and Estrela said that they made an upgrade in the material used for the inner joints, so that they would not disintegrate like the vintage ones. Time will tell...

I already had one of my heads reflocked by a friend of mine, who does a flocking service even better than the vintage one from Estrela.

I took this picture from the heads, before I sent them to be reflocked:
