  • Action Joe Davy Crockett

Here are a couple of guys I have been working here and there on piecing together over the past several months.

They are kind of a departure from the rest of my military and adventure themed sets but are pretty neat.

They are a semi-custom mish-mash of vintage and more recent pieces. Parts that coordinate with sets like this are somewhat hard to find.

Thank you. I did not make the outfits, the set was a foreign offering, Group Action Joe...

I did do some customizing with the hats and several of the accessories they are wearing. The vintage original “hats”, which I don’t have, were more like a skunk headband to me, not like a coonskin hat. I feel the hats I have are a real improvement on that aspect.

Here are some pictures (not mine) showing the contents of the card a little clearer along with a picture of the “skunk headband”....

                        Thanks. Your cowboys are nice.

That is the fun of gi joe, there are so many different figures and accessories, the possibilities are limited only by your imagination.
