Really cool! A Japanese TV show called Comet san(youtube) made a awesome stop motion episode where Gijoe comes to life. Great stuff in Japan for sure!

If you want to see that episode, titled "Revolt of the Toys," you can find it here:

It's in straight Japanese, but still fairly easy to follow. Basically, Comet-san is working as a maid in a household where two spoiled boys mistreat their toys. Tired of their behavior, Comet-san uses her magical powers to bring the G.I. Joe's to life. Thus empowered, the Joe's gang up and go after the boys to teach them a lesson. You can see some Joes early in the episode, and then they disappear for a while, but when they come back, they come back strong! While the video quality isn't fantastic, it's still well worth watching for any Joe collectors.

I tried posting a link earlier but there must be gremlins -- or Y?kai -- in the site that won't allow a clean connection.

          Your link doesn't work either.

This should work -- it's a Comet-san approved gremlin proof link...

            Hi all!

Thanks for the assist! I've corrected my earlier post as well, so either my link or your link should work (And go to the same place...)

              geyejoeme,

Thanks for sharing the image.... I've not seen that artwork before, it's similar in style to the Topps early "Battle" Bubblegum cards, it's of the classic style we all come to love from that 1960's era: http://www.cardboardconnection.com/1...-trading-cards
