Picked up my first Vintage Gijoe coffin box as a adult collector...All my childhood ones did not survive..lol

Nice. I only have 1 vintage coffin box. The Navy one I picked up at Wizard World Chicago a few years ago.

Well done Jim, it's a nice piece of toy history that needs to be preserved. I only have repos of that box, but they do the nostalgic trick for me and they are very good. In the past I've used a very small amount of beeswax polish to preserve old glossy covered cardboard boxes and comic annuals, I applied the polish to a soft cotton cloth,

Your box looks to be in pretty good shape. Way better then my sailor box.
