Hey guys, I recently won an auction of the bay. A Joe missing his arms from the biceps down, with a soft head. I have the arm pieces, just need to get him a pair of hands. When I received him, I was surprised to see
he was marked as "patent pending 1964/Hassenfeld Brothers/patented 1966/Made in Canada. He has a soft head. I thought he seemed a bit different, lighter than Joes and Action Man.
This is the first Canadian Joe I have not only seen, but now have in my possession.
I've looked online, but can't seem to find a site that is dedicated to Canadian Joes. As far as I know, the uniform sets are the same as the US Joes. Other than the Canadian Mountie uniform, I was hoping to dress him
in something other than the usual US Joes.
But I'm curious, what years were they produced? Did they ever have gripping hands? I would like to know more about the line. So if anyone knows of a site that best explains the Canadian Joe line, I would be most
appreciate, I would like to know more about the line.
Once I know more, I will post photos of the project from start to finish.
Thanks!!! Daryl
