Were the cloth ammo pouches ever repro'd by Hasbro, or any other company?

      Thanks ATC.
      I thought about COTS too.
I may have got burned on this one, but there are other good items in the lot.
I'll post pics as soon as the lot gets here.

Hasbro never did repro cloth pouches but there are a lot of counterfeit ones out there. The first tell (if they are authentic) is the glue and paper backing (usually red) on the back of the pouches where they were glued to the card mock-ups for the salesman sample. There is a set that has been making its rounds on eBay but I cannot remember the seller's name.

I probably screwed myself on this one.
According to the seller, the pouches were glued to the belt, but there was no paper/glue residue present on the belt/pouches. I specifically asked that question.
The pics were kinda fuzzy, but the pouches looked hand-made, and one of the brass grommets looked sorta corroded.
I'm hoping the ammo pouches are the real deal, if they are, I got the screamin' deal of a lifetime.
There's other items in the pile that I know are authentic and early production, which gives me hope for the pouches.
Pics as soon as the Joe goodness arrives.

Checking for you. But looking at what you got and for how much, you did good, regardless if they are legit or not. So breath easy pal.

Okay, don't want to get your hopes up but I shared the auction with some of the more reputable collectors who know more than we do. I will need pics of the belt when you get it. Looks like there is a chance it may be legit. But it was passed on to me pretty much what I said, even if it is a fake, that is such a good lot you came out fine.

I picked up 2 from a guy several years ago and they are really nice. On ebay he is gman3333333333. He hasnt had any in a long time. Ask him if he can get them. I f I remember right they where around $100 each but worth it. He sells repro rifle slings.

Gmann has reproductions that he asks vintage prices for. Also has listed repros as vintage. They are nice repros but he has flooded the market with them over the years. All the more reason to be cautious as well as asking questions. Honestly, thats why I asked who the sellar was.
