  • How to Classify the Classic Collection?

Many of us started collecting GI Joe as adults prior to the creation of the Hall of Fame, 30th Anniversary, Masterpiece and Classic Collection figures. When these appeared (and maybe even before), we referred to the GI Joes from the 1960's and 1970's as "vintage" and the 1990's and onward figures as "modern". With the Classic Collection having ended its run 20 years ago, can they still truly be called "modern"? They are as old now as the 1970s Adventure Team Joes were when these originally came out. Should they be called "neo-vintage" now?

Would love to hear your thoughts.

I've seen some sellers group them by decades, or specific years in the 90's. Maybe just call them '90s Joes"

I agree with Myles... I like 90's Joes...

Or "CC Joes" to keep it simple!
