I'm looking for a repro box for my Talking Action Marine, and also a vintage Talking Action Sailor if a nice one is available. Other than that, I'll like to find some more cloth covered helmets with the Mitchell leaf pattern from Vietnam

Well the days are getting shorter as the Kentuckiana show draws closer. I can hardly wait to make the drive, listening to classic rock all the way down, and then going to the Friday night preview and hopefully doing some sales in my room later on that evening. I'm bringing an ATHQ, a late issue AT Helicopter and a bunch of Joes for sale. Looking forward to the entire thing.

So what kind of stuff are YOU looking to score at the Kentucky Joe event?

I think I'll try to keep my eye out for Italian jackets, helmets, and carcano rifles to finish building my Bersaglieri squad.

My wife isn't up for going, maybe I'll see if my oldest son would consider the drive.

Steve says the Colonel's packages are not sold in advance this year. They will have to be purchased at the door.

I just called to book a room, and they don't have anything left except suites, at $200 a night!

Across the parking lot from the conference center is a Radisson hotel. I booked there instead at $113 a night (I used some points to reduce the room rate).

Is room trading still a thing? I haven't tried before, but this time I'm bring a lot of Joes, and ATHQ and a helicopter to sell.

I'll be there this year by myself again. My son doesn't do well at all when little kids are crying. Hope to meet up with some Trenches folks and do some room trading too. See you there!

I'll have to see if my schedule would let me attend. This time each year I'm usually a few states away in the wrong direction.

I'd love to get a table to sell as well, looks like they are full up.

    Five different versions!
    That sounds crazy!
    Kind of fun, though.

From what I have heard, there is going to be possibly 5 versions of this spy island theme. (Collect them all LOL) Each version is from a different person or vendor. Show exclusive, Mattsquatch, Mark Cole, Cotswold and I think a Super Joe. I am not 100% on this, but that is pretty close to what I hear. (Vendors may not be accurate)
