I know I was taking a break from Joe (maybe for a year) so I could build a house. But this Xmas something popped up on my radar that I couldn't resist: a 1/6 scale radio controlled Suzuki Samurai!
Ok, it's not a Samurai. The first Suzuki jeep (Gen 1) was called a Jimny. When the Gen 2 Jimny came along, it was introduced to the US market as the "Suzuki Samurai."
This is a 1/6 model of a Gen 1 Jimny jeep. I am a *HUGE* fan of the Suzuki Samurai, so I had to pick up this Gen 1 Jimny for my Joes. I consider it a Samurai's Daddy.

Youtube is FULL of mods to this thing, from giving it a "lift kit" as well as changing out the tires for big off-road tires, and other stuff.
I'll leave mine stock, because it's a VERY realistic scale model of the original (admittedly primitive) jeep.
All I'm going to do is paint the grille a contrasting color, slap an AT decal on the hood, and I'll have a new field vehicle for my Adventure Team Commander to cruise around the AOR and check on the progress his Adventure Team is making on their various missions.
Unfortunately, all my Joe stuff is packed away in storage, so I won't be able to stick a Joe in there or do a decent review.
But at least I have the Jimny on the way!

It's been out for over 2 years and there were lots of good deals. This year, $179 was the best price I could find.
With free shipping.
Unbelievable bargain, IMHO. I think I paid $400 for my R/C Willys Jeep.
