Bummer. Time to test everything again!

Well after rewiring everything and testing it again seemingly the generator died after my test run, good quality right there. So bought a new one, different model, may be slightly more powerful but not sure, and it worked! I mean no I never turned it on it was too dangerous. I do have a question however, so the results I got were a bit uneven some runs came out pretty great looking, then others the flock didn't want to seem to move and I didn't get much coverage. It seemed to work best after I turned it off and recollected and centered the flock. Is there like a minimum of flock I should be using each time? Does the amount on the plate matter for how well it reacts?
