  • Next week I'll be buying two patent pending Joes from the same original owner. This is not the same guy I got the blond MOA and the record sets from. It will be fun talking with another grown up Joe owner with his toys for sale. He wants about $100 for one and $125 for the other. We'll see.

      • The deal fell through. The seller told me he takes cash only. So today I'm on the road to collect a nearly complete Adventure Team Seawolf Submarine. Pics to follow.

        • That sucks. The Seawolf is great. I have one that needs some work.

Here are some photos of the Seawolf I picked up today. I found a guy on a website sending me a screen-printed rudder for free. I'll probably have to look on Etsy for other pieces I still need. This one is mostly complete though. I have the mirror and floats somewhere, and I have the pump and the mask & hose too. Just missing a few pieces. The large "SEA WOLF" stickers will be replaced. I have a new decal sheet somewhere in my supply boxes. I think. I'll probably replace all of the stickers. They are all shifted from their original spots, with sticker residue where they used to be. I'll probably use lots of alcohol and Qtips on this one!

            • I haven't had any acquisitions in some time. That changed recently. I bought another junk sub from Ebay with the missing parts I need to complete my nice Seawolf submarine. And the past week or so, I've been selling some of my extra equipment - an AT Headquarters, a partial Troubleshooter, an AT Helicopter, and a sea sled from Shark's surprise. I have purchased the 2006 convention set, Fight for Survival Polar Bear Attack. I sold a Big Jim camper, and also some figures to raise more money for purchases. So I'm getting back into the collecting side of things. The guy who came to pick up the camper looked really happy! He said it was his favorite childhood toy. Nice to reunite friends. He had the boat, which my set was missing, and I think he is super happy. I love trading and selling stuff. It's the people that make it worthwhile. My 2006 AT Convention set arrived on March 17. I'm very relieved, and thrilled. I've always wanted one. I've been in the thick of selling, plus there's a family emergency happening. It'll be a while before I can take photos and post again. But I'm happy with the set which all my sales were able to help me buy. This is my third AT Gi Joe Club convention set. I'm not sure I'll buy any more, but you never know. I have this one, the Search for the Sasquatch, and Return to the Hidden Temple.

                  • I also have two non AT convention sets in my collection. One is the Green Beret Machine Gun Outpost Set, and the other is the Battle of Leyte Gulf Set. I once had the Operation Pegasus Bridge set from 2001, and also the Unknown Heroes set from 2004. I sold both to other collectors since I wanted to focus on sets which were more like the original Gi Joe toys. Somehow I still have the folder the 2004 set came with including the paperwork, certificate and patch. If anyone needs it I'll be happy to mail it to you.

                    • I'm jealous of all your collector-ey activities! My stuff is still all in storage. When we finally get the house built and unpack everything, it'll be like a giant Xmas when I unpack my Joe's

                      • I feel the same way actually. Most of my Joes sit in boxes arranged around my study. Only a few are on shelves, and the vehicles are gathering dust, since the shelves have so much clutter. I'm hoping to buy a larger house next year if the market is as good to me as I hope. Then I'll have a real Joe room/movie room, and my wife will have an artists studio. Plus a rec room for my son. Hope springs eternal. I do believe this time I've got the right stocks and the right environment to get wealthy at last. My collector-ey activities will be near a standstill for now. I have other extras to sell, but they are also in boxes and would need to get very organized to get them sold. When I have more energy!

                        • Mail call today brought a pair of realistic bluejeans for Joe. The package was from Cots, and this was part of an order from 3/25/25. It should also have included a pair of black high top sneakers. Those must be still backordered. When they come in I'll have to find a Joe who needs a street look. Maybe my Geyperman muscle body Adventurer? Joe will find out!

                          • I've had most of these Joes for a while, but never photographed them until today. These are my Geyperman figures, and one Falcon Joe (the Sea Adventurer muscle body (red hair)). I love these figures since they have the original head mold which Hasbro lost or broke. These are some of the best reproduction figures I've seen, with one exception. The hair colors are mostly flat. No mixing of colors like we had in the American Adventure Team Joes. But it's a small quibble to me. These are mostly in the uniforms they were packaged in. I'm only missing the black AT Adventurer. I can't buy him because Hobbycrash will not sell to US addresses due to the Tariffs. So I'll likely pay way more for him down the road. For now, this is my Geyperman/Falcon Team. Hope you like them!
